Why do we feel it is important to amend the Constitution? Simple, a series of Supreme Court decisions, ending with Citizens United, has rendered illegal any attempt by Congress to limit or control the flow of money to control campaign electioneering. Elections are now controlled by entities with the most money since SCOTUS ruled that money is now protected first amendment speech. Unlimited money is the volume of speech as it drowns out the speech of the people who are supposed to govern (not entities) - government is for, by, and of the people, not entities.. Amending the Constitution to restore OUR INALIENABLE RIGHTS that only natural people are persons (not legal fictions) and that rmoney is not speech, is our only avenue for relief. Stop the buying of our elections, stop the buying of our government - join us. 100 years of election laws by states have been struck down - outside money by entities and mega wealthy individuals are literally buying them as well as those at local and national levels..
